The September 23rd “Embrace: A Worship Celebration for Women” event, featuring Babbie Mason, was a tremendous blessing to all who were able to attend. If you were not able to be there, we missed you and you missed a wonderful evening of worship and encouragement.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following:

 

• Everyone who prayed for, attended, participated in and supported this event financially or donated materials to make this memorable day possible!

 

• Our “BEP’s” (Babbie Event Planners): Jinger Gibson, Debra Sparma, Jan Gaines and my husband, Michael Frank for many hours of prayers, meetings, planning, emails, calls, trips, encouragement, media posts, designing and numerous other tasks. This event would not have been possible without their help and hard work! Also, thank you to Bob Wachs for helping us to get the word out with an article in the local papers!

 

• Crossroad Ministries, who opened their doors to us, free of charge, and provided several of their staff (Pastors J3, Rob Costelow, Nicole Cannaday) and volunteers to run sound and lights, to set up, tear down, clean up and work the event alongside SS&B’s “BEP’s” and volunteers.

 

• New Hope Baptist Church violinist, Berkley Hillis and ladies ensemble: Kim Lilley, Allysha Lilley, Corinthia Lilley, Sidney Lilley, Katie Warren and Melody Watts for their beautiful music and help to accompany Babbie.

 

• The ladies who participated in the service or volunteered at Babbie’s product table: Jennifer Evans, Cindy Hall, Deborah Sparma, Martha Villanueva, Nicole Cannaday, Carol Cate Christy Cordell, Adela Costelow, Charity Gales, Linda James,  Janette Santos, and Gloria Tolliver.

 

• Babbie Mason, her husband Charles, and their friend, Rick for spending their lives serving the Lord with their gifts and talents and for sharing them with us!

Most of all, I thank Our Lord, Jesus Christ, for coming to earth, in the form of a man, for the sole purpose of becoming the payment for our sins so that we can have a relationship with Him if we believe in Him, repent of our sins, and ask Him to be our Savior and Lord.
